For Flighty- or anybody else who has grown a double cosmos

I tried growing a double cosmos last year and it seemed to have far fewer blossoms than the single cosmos.
Was that true of yours or did I have a poor variety of seed?

I didn't have much luck with germination but those that did grow had few flowers. I wasn't that impressed with them, or the colour, so will stick with my favourite white ones Purity next year.

Yes, I guess cosmos were meant to be sweetly single.
