JENIAN

7 years I've had my allotment & enjoyed every second till now.  Politics, playground bullying tactics (that did'nt work) no rules on allotments (they don't want them), Environmental issues (see previous posts) and a long life to live in retirement living the dream.  Bye all.  Jenian

Oh dear, Jenian. I'm sorry to hear that you are to give up your beloved allotment :( Maybe you could still grow a few things in your back garden/on the patio/window ledge ... delete as applicable!

I hope you don't leave us - there's is still much chit chat of the non growing kind :)

Take care :icon_salut:

Oh dear, are you absolutely sure? Can you hang on till you could possibly transfer to another site?

Only you know how bad it is and sometimes it is best to move on, but things do change and sometimes for the better.
I just hope that you find somewhere to be able to garden in peace and happiness.

Quite a few of us older/ less able ones have had to move on from the council 'lottie' and now just grow in our back 'yards' where its safer, easier access and the shed isn't broken into. Stay here with us even if you're due an extended winter break and I hope the growing bug will resurface with the spring sunshine.. :icon_sunny:

A nice response green lily so hope you don't mind if I just say "ditto" and wish Jenian all the best for the future....as well as saying don't go too far away as A4A is still here and so are we.
Take care. :icon_thumright:

What a horrible situation to have been in, I hope you find a nice spot to garden and grow veggies in.

YOU CAN'T GIVE IT UP . . .
untill the weeds are shoulder high, persons have used the allotment as a dumping ground for everything from old plastic pots to bedframes and 2 C.V. chassis.  Why should a newcomer to allotmenting have the benefit of all your hard work? :toothy10:  :toothy10:

Well I hope you have a long and stress free retirement.   :coffee2:

Cheers,    Tony.
