Funny yes, but sobering when you think that those villagers almost certainly use a lot, lot less water than the average European resident, with our washing machines, dish-washers, toilets, basins, sprinklers, swimming pools, all supplied with magical taps that just turn on and off so easily and with very little thought  about where water comes from.

and where it goes/gets treated......Water bills also include getting rid of it when we have used it !!
