Looks great Sky pilot.  You in the 'dead centre' of Broughty Ferry then  ;)  Love the photos of you in your kilt.  Does look a wee chilly round the w***y with the wind blowing mind you  ;D
Take time to stop and smell the flowers.

LOL Mimi!  ;D

What a great place!  Makes me feel a little jealous with my 4 metres x 3 metres garden!
Good luck!
Enjoy today to the full.  You are not sure of a tomorrow.

I am quite pleased with my "wee" lottie, I managed to get the fire going to day and it was great - sweating buckets I was, pity I was only burning scraps of wood :(

Yeh, the neighbours are quite quiet :o The problem is that ground level the cemetery side of the wall is about 3ft above my lottie ground level, so i hope i don't bump into any of them  :-[

As an aside, that kilt weighed about eight pounds, (Thirteen yards of material) and the wind was storm force as you can see from the castle's flag - it was very warm too  :D

Hi SkyP - I hadn't seen this post, thanks for the clue.  The problem with solid fuel stoves is that they aren't suitable for heating greenhouses all night but wonderful to warm the bones and make a brew on a cold day.  I bet it's popular with your lottie colleagues too.

Those 'quiet' neighbours might be a bit cold company though so if you  have any non bottled spirits visiting you, you can always exorcise them by saying fertiliser......... 8)

Enjoyed your photos skypilot.  I am trying to work out where your lottie is about?  What cemetery is that?   I used to live in Monifieth, then Dundee so know the area.  Left there about 20 years ago but been back since.  My mother also lives in Bield Sheltered Housing but its not as impressive as the buildings in Mid Craigie,  games room eh?  Looks real up market place.

Hi Carol,

The lottie is part of the Old Craigie Allotment Association. My lottie is directly behind DC Thompson's Printing Works on the Kingsway (thats the big building you can see in the view from the greenhouse) The cemetery is the northern part of the Eastern Cemetery.

I've just come home after having lived 40 years in various parts of England, twenty of them in Harlow, Essex. :D
