She is back

It had been very quiet in my dalek compost bin.  Been adding quite a lot of milk thistle,fat hen and phacelia.  Opened it up and there she was sitting right on top - huge.  The female grass snake has come back.  There has been a male under one of my straw bales.  But when you see the huge size of Mrs Grass Snake there is no missing her.  She is even bigger than last year.  More than a metre long.

The next thing with be the arrival of the males not sure how many it was last year I think 4 or 5.  

There have been a few toadlets, so she has come bang on queue to hoover them up.
