SNOW!!!

OMG - it's snowing in London. Chucking it down. I can't see from my basement window if it's settling. Hope not. Can't bear rush hour with snow!

Up at the sunny north east coast it has been chucking it down since

yesterday, however it is now starting to thaw, much to dismay of children.

Forecast says it might carry on snowing throughout week OMG :o

Booo hoooooooooooooooooooooo got no snow. There is snow on the hills and mountains though.

This morning it started to snow here in West Lothian:



and within 5 minutes it looked like this:



notice the change in colour as the sky turned totally white.

Still coming down with alternate showers of soft hail.

Hope it doesn't keep this up all night as my daughter is coming through from Edinburgh on a visit tomorrow.

we have ahd snow tonight here in central london!
settling on th road and all.
beautiful snow flakes swirling this way and then (well, mostly downwards)

the allotments are all white - how do i know? i can see them from the balcony ;)
looks pretty and clean.
no doubt it will be gone by tomorrow morning, unless there is more snow in the night

ah well, note to self: winter fell on a monday this year ::)

photo taken two days ago - and this morning it is much whiter than this. it must have been snowing more in the night, and it's still snowing now.
ah for a little rushhour chaos - it's friday so it wont matter if i am late for work once ;)

And this is the fifth day of snow on the ground in a row!

It's actually still on the ground now that I'm at work - in a much warmer and more central part of town than at home.

Yesterday when I left work I thought it was getting warmer. wrong wrong wrong. coldest yet.
