A hearted cabbage that comes through in December through to early March?

WHat are folks recommendations?... I'm looking for a cabbage to grow next year primarily for use in bubble and squeak (which I love)... What Ive found is that you can make up a big batch and freeze it, so I'm not too fussed about how big the cabbage gets. I'm looking for something reliable and I'm not too fussed whether it is a hybrid or open pollinated, to be fair all my success with brassicas seems to be hybrids....

I'm no cabbage expert, but I grew some savoy last year for the first time, pulled the last two last week and they are in good nick - used part of one in delicious coleslaw last night - I've not made bubble and squeak with savoy, though. I was delighted by how long they stood undamaged.

Tundra, a savoy/white cabbage cross. Crops Sept to March.

The savoys I grew last year sulked when it was too dry but are heartening up well now...  :)

Agree Tundra is really good and tough as nails. Chopped up sprouts, chard etc also good in bubble & squeak.

I've been using brussels this year but the problem is I never had large amounts to make batches up to freeze.... stripped them down last weekend (though some of the smaller ones left are now hearting up so I might get another picking) so I was thinking to grow two or three (only two or three though) real cabbages to allow me to make a batch up each time I audit the potato stores for sprouting...

I grow Tundra and Celtic.  Celtic are much larger and require more room.

tundra and it also makes great sauerkraut. I an not sowing any for next year as they make big heads. I am going for samara and minicole
