My husband has somehow got the impression that I am a mind-reader.

We met up with a friend yesterday, we hadn't seen her for ages and she has recently had major surgery.

Colin was stroking our very scruffy-looking dog Vera who has some health problems.  He said "She's looking well, isn't she, and her hair really suits her"

I was a bit surprised because Vera needs grooming, so I said "She's alright, but I think she could do with a bath".

He looked a bit shocked and asked me why I thought that.

I told him that it was over a year since she'd had one and when she does a wee, she often walks in it afterwards so her feet were bound to be smelly.

I realised from the look on his face that we were not talking about the same thing........

When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

I suddenly thought about it while I was in bed last night and laughed so much I started coughing and couldn't stop.
