Would anyone in nottingham be interested in swapping young plants( ie things like cabbages/leeks etc etc) in the spring in return for fresh free range eggs from our 5 lovely chickens.

We currently do this with a chap at the allotments but he's growing less and less.

Let me know

Phil

Well thats what we thought,

With the chap on the allotment we tend to to swap a tray of plants (those mushroom blue trays) for 6/12 eggs depending on the plant

It works well, over the early growing season we get a lot of plants that are started off well and he gets very good eggs

Does this make us lazy?, no not really it just works well for us

As we get a lot of eggs from march onwards we have more then we can eat!!!
