Me I my little lad fancy growing & then making some horseradish sauce.
Is there anything else you can do with horseradish?

Where can I get some horseradish from?
How do we make horseradish sauce??

I am sure once someone reads this who currently has horseradish on their plot they will offer to send you some, because once you have it, you will have it forever!  >:(

Googled and found this website to inspire you!  ;D

Great site, EJ! Haven't time to read it all at the moment so this may repeat something it says.

1. The best bit of the root is the outer layer (not the soil!).
2. The best grater is a fine 'micro-plane'.
3. DO grate in front of a fan or in the open air - the fumes are lethal. Keep the 'lad' well away!!
4. If you want sauce to keep, use (diet) mayo instead of cream.
5. Keep a store of grated root in the freezer.
6. You can buy it on the net. = Tim

PS I'll see if I have any to spare. XXXX I see you've got some!
PPS Do check the net for the right way to plant.

Get a piece of root (if you're wary about asking for a thong!) from someone with horseradish - an even better bargain!!

What happened to the offer of a root a couple of messages ago - the one that caused me to duck out??
