We bought tulameen last year, just getting our first harvest, lovely tasting fruit  :)

I think that this is another answer which depends on the soil.  I have alkaline soil and tulemeen though having nice fruit seems to be the most unhappy of several varieties leaves very yellow.  So not sure I would recommend in my conditions.

taurus

on clay soil from M&t  3 different veriaties for e/m/l  scotish glen veriaties. Fruit very well.  Sorry can't remember the exact type.

I still dont believe there is anything better than "Autumn Bliss" for an autumn variety.  Easy to manage, good cropper, large fruits and good flavour.  Will crop from August until first frosts, even if that is in December

I'd pick Joan J over Bliss dues to the lack of spikes. It's a week or so later but as with all primocanes you can get 2 crops out of them if you do 2 half prunings at different times of the year. Much easier to do the summer prune on something without spikes.

I have lots of Autumn Bliss and really appreciated them until I met Joan J. HUGE fruit, very prolific, very tasty. Eg:

This looks very expensive, and I'm sure I didn't pay that; but worth looking for at a more reasonable price. And of course, they multiply.
