I HATE THE NEW MASTERCHEF!!

It's a bit much when the Radio Times TV critic (Alison Graham) absolutely slates the new format.  You would have thought that the in-house magazine might have been much kinder, but everything she says is true.

Also in next week's Radio Times letters page (Feedback) an editorial comment says "Users of radiotimes.com have given the new MasterChef their biggest-ever thumbs down - see radiotimes.com/masterchef.  The comments on here are mild in comparison.

But that won't stop the BBC telling us in a very patronising manner that we will get used to the changes and appreciate them. ??? ???

One thing the BBC is not very good at is admitting it has done anything wrong.

I have been watching it but i am not too sure i like the new format. Even after all this time i still havent worked out who is who, and as a resuly never have any strong feelings as to who should go out or stay in. In the old format you got to know the people better and  could decide for yourself prior to the event who should go out of the contest.

As for the new studio/kitchens. what a waste of money they are. Huge amounts of wasted space and they are hardly used!

Can't watch it any more the big fat grocer and the chippy oz are just painful! .....however did anyone see Great British Food Revival on Wednesday night, it was brilliant  :)

Just out of interest has anyone seen Cookery School on C4 on weekday afternoons? Much more enjoyable than the new Masterchef. REAL amateur cooks wanting to learn to be better at cooking.

Yes we've been watching for several weeks now, but unfortunately the Cheltenham Festival takes precedence over it for the next week.

It really is a very good show.  Richard Corrigan is humerous, and 'dizzy' Gizzy is very good.

The entrants are a mix of good household cooks (a bit set in their ways), cooks who want to learn more, and dreadful, but want to learn.

We'll miss it next week.

I have to say the old masterchef was not much better i think they should go back to the original format to see why these people should be on this type of show in the firstplace! And get rid of the 2 idiot presenters

I can't stand the Lancaster bomber flying around in the back ground
and  john shuttleworth  plonking on his organ 
and that woman's voice is totally out of place 
I have to watch it with the volume turned down and subtitles  on  ::)
