Three times in a row Mr.C. and I missed the annual meeting of the lottie complex (with reason). Next week it's that time again and we told ourselves we really can't miss it again.

Today we ran into one of the committee members at the lotties and he came over, with a very serious look on his face, to talk to us. Ëhm....... ehm........you know next week is the annual meeting and ehm.........as usual, the winners of best gardens will be announced and ehm........there's a chance you'll be one of the winners so it's important you'll be present".

We have been judged best mixed garden in the past and not been present to receive the diploma and speech. It was nice to know others appreciate our lottie as much as we do but..........I was glad not to have to go up in front of 150+ people.
Now I really dread next weeks event.

Doris? I'm Ina. Hehehehe. I will.

Serves you right for being so good! :)
We were approached on Friday at a meeting of  a specialist garden society to which we belong, by the person who organises the annual trip. She wants to bring the group to visit our garden as part of their annual outing! These are real experts on plants etc.
Now how about that for worrying?
Do we say 'Yes' or 'No'?

Ina, if you are the winner (which I have no doubt you will be from what pictures i've seen of your lottie) then you deserve it and you should feel proud. Make sure Mr C goes up with you to receive the diploma and make the speech, it may make it easier if you have someone with you. Well done you!

Palustris, what do you mean they are "real" experts? You know your garden better than anyone else, you're the "real" expert. Say yes!

Ina, that is great news and I am sure it is well deserved.  That's teamwork for you - Clint's flowers and your veggies!! (I know you both do them both so to speak - but you know what I mean!!).

Congratulations to you both

Thanks people, for the encouraging words.
Whoahahaha, Eileen, you make me crack up, love your reaction hehehe.

Eric, you just can't disappoint these people.
Are you supposed to give a guided tour? That would be a bit scary I think but what a crown on your work that they asked to view your garden.

Gardengirl

Well done Ina & OH - I am sure you will come out on top judging by your photos.  Don't forget to post a photo of the diploma ;D :)
