Nibbled garlic

Something (rabbits or birds) has nibbled the shoots of my garlic. Do you think they will recover? Must make some scarecrows. >:(

They should recover... unless whatever it is comes back for seconds... and thirds..  :-\

 My garlic has not shown yet ? perhaps it has been eaten.

Some of my garlic is through and when I gently moved some of the soil, the rest were on the way.

All of mine are up bar the jan planted elephant garlic.  Is it normal for the cloves to put out more than one shoot.  They were from Wilkinson?

It's quite common. Sometimes what appears to be a single clove is actually two.

The bulk of my 180 cloves are up, but have also noticed that 3 have been nibbled off - am curious =- we are not in major rabbit country.  Will not fret, as the cloves still seem to be plumping up, and will use these first as wet garlic in late May/early June.
