The Goodies got it right all those years ago with their "Keep Filth off Television" S.E. CROSS Education film How To Make Babies By Doing Dirty Things

This is a Man........

and this isn't.

This is a picture of a Man and a Lady.

There is a difference between Men and Ladies. Do you know what it is?

That's right. Men are better at football.

Actually my last line manager was a female, good boss and a good person(I was in Love), also another guy I work with is openly GAY, he is a credit to the British Military does a better job than the straight guys, anyway going back to the original post, just seen the lady in question on TV, total disgrace for that girl to pull out of another football game because of what is going on, I  hope Gray and Keys are proud of themselves, this girl did not ask for all the attention that is now coming her way, I just hope that when she does go back on to the pitch to do her stuff the crowd give her an Almighty cheer, :)

Purlease.  If you are going to speak in favour of women having equal access to jobs then please don't use derogatory terms like 'girl' and 'lady'.  We are women, okay?  I can manage to talk about men without resorting to calling you 'lads' or 'lords' so it can't be that difficult!

Shouldn't that letter a be a capital?

I'm not a fan of Gray or Keys and putting aside the sexism row for a moment, I do find this whole situation of trial by media or by public via the media to be unacceptable.  It appears to be taking place far too much in this nosey, obsessed country we find ourselves in.

Also, I don't mind being called a lady, woman, girl or chief cook and bottle washer ;D ;D

So what who needs a spell check, what you see is what you get, it just shows how ignorant I'm, :)

No Mr Smith, you are not ignorant.  Other members have no right to correct you if you make a mistake as most of us do at times.  That is bad manners!!!!!.

What`s derogatory about being called a lady? There are lots of "women" who really are ladies.

I like being called 'love' by bus drivers etc.  Don't really mind what you call me lady, woman, girl is nice, not old pregnant dog, or old bag, but don't really care.  Don't really like 'mad old woman that steals cats', must just check on Dulce, haven't seen him for two days since I locked the cat flap, poor Charlie can get out but not in. Girls in my time weren't allowed to play football but did have a very good time making the orange juice and chatting to the boys at half time, and liked kicking a ball, don't really fancy all that running up and down the pitch (or whatever you call the grass). I had a few men at work trying to pinch my bum, but just turning round and swearing 'f  ck off' loudly, they didn't try again.  I never felt threatened by it, and it doesn't happen now.  I find a good smack round the face and a scream usually works, if it is a young girl I would support her, but most women can give as good as they get, if not more.

Georgie, I much prefer being called a lady than a woman.   :D

I have a group of friends and when we arrange to meet we always refer to it as a "Girls get together" or a "Girls day out".

When one of the group died, we clubbed together and sent a wreath.  When I asked them all what they would like written on the card, they all said it should come from "The Girls".

Women have been around in football for years.  In the late 1980's, I used to run a boys' football team.  In our final year we were second in the league and won the cup.
