Hi all,

Dont want to spend nearlly £100 on a worm compost bin, was thinking of making my own (how do you make your own) or does anyone have one to sell, thought this maybe a good way of getting my kids involved in gardening/environment?

thanks

Yes, yes, yes .... YES

Use the link that  DorisPink suggests - I made one of those last year and it works just fine - got my plastic holders from the Wilkinson (?) for next to nothing (you don't need to get lids with every tub - just one lid will do - save a few bob).

In one season I have managed to get a full container of wormcasts and about 10L of juice - don't know what the fuss is about 'cos it tastes disgusting!

Always look on the bright side of life

Thanks to all for the advice, with the money saved I think I might get drunk this weekend.
Cheers ;)
