Help with earwigs

For the last few years now my lettice cabbage, & cauliflowers there are earwigs all through the leaves of my lettice, (i grow webbs delight) just something all family and friends like but its been off putting sending them to pick there own they all run back and say its ok. But to bo honest anybody else have this trouble would really like some help please.    Rugbypost

No I've never had that problem, but I've heard they can be a pain. I've heard of people putting out rolled up newspaper as a trap, and then disposing of the sheltering earwigs.

This BBC page recommends upturned flower pots with straw or shredded paper in as a trap.

Thanks a lot will read this tonight my wife has said she has been bit by them but my skin is like a rhino so i don,t know but thankyou will read tonight .Rugbypost
