It sure has and not just for home growers.

I go round the markets for bargains and even though I did not want  any soft fruits because I have got tons (well a lot) Most of which I have given away because we can not eat them ourselves.

I did notice that the price they are going for indicates that a lot of commercial growers are having to sell at a loss.

Enjoy, freeze and preserve.

We're fast disappearing under a mountain of soft fruit.
The OH is going to ceremoniously stamp on our strawberry bed as he believes he's picked his body weight in strawbs this year!Blackcurrants are coming in thick and fast and gooseberries and shh don't look now but the raspberries are turning red as we speak-yikes
sanity is overated

Youre lucky! We moved all our fruit bushes this year so havent got much off of them. Plus we havent had hardly any rain for the last 2 months but theres always next year to look forward too.

yes all fruit amazing so far - will be picking pounds of red currants tomorrow for the jelly - they mark the beginning of the jam, jelly, chutney, marmalade, pickle fest  ;D
