Mille Fleur is certainly living up to its name. I can't believe that all these flowers will turn into tomatoes - it really is impossible to count them.

When God blesses you with a multitude of seeds double  the blessing by sharing your  seeds with other folks.

Nice looking plant but lets hope it turns into Mille Tomato ( the flowers don't taste very nice) ;D

Smashing Triffid you got there squash, I just hope that the darn thing doesn't get any ideas of moving down this way.

Got them back now to put some tread on them

What variety is it? I once grew I think Ildi and it was like that. Absolutely thousands of small tomatoes but I have gone back to Gardeners Delight and I also like Red Alert for its early supply and resistance to blight.

davyw1

they look like Ildi a cherry tomato with a nice bite to them.

Well..Squash..you should not be short of seeds this year for swaps later on.. ;D ;D ;).. have you got enough those little brown envelopes...?..I would put order in now..they might have to put special shift on in warehouse for that lot.. ;D

ipt8 - The variety is Millefleur from Real Seeds

Goodlife - I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they taste good.  It would be such a waste to have all those tomatoes if we don't like them.

..oh..you can always cook them if they are not straight eaters..with a bit of herbs and other flavourings..garlic etc. any tomato will turn into good stuff.. ;)

Oh yes, I hadn't thought of that.  They will be lovely roasted with courgettes and onion.

OMG those plants are enormous! I have two babies in my polytunnel, dont think there will be room to move in there if they grow that big!

goodlife

I have two babies in my polytunnel
I don't think polytunnel makes them grow any quicker..it will take few years before they out grow there.. ;)..so your plants should be fine..
Does you babies like it in there....do you take them home for the night? ;D

Squash,

Try to find it on this link about tomato flavours

http://tomatolover.com/bags-of-flavour/

Great link - thank you :)

Yes, a very interesting link, thanks Landimad and sorry I forgot to reply.  I contacted Sally from the tomatolover site and have had a few emails from her.  She hasn't tasted Millefleur but is interested to find out what they are like so I will let her know.

Wow! Incredible amount. Hoping they all come to fruition and they taste lovely. Lucky you! You will be on overdrive with the tomato feed, getting all those nourished.  Keep us informed how they worked out.  :) busy_lizzie

Fantastic - I'm growing the same ones but they're nowhere near that size yet.  Can't wait!
