Oh smashing, we are kiters(make our own) and are looking forward to being able to start going  back to the Oregon coast ones further into the summer. In the UK we went to a couple in Beverley and Cleethorpes but they were quite small so we didn't veture further afield.

What do you fly?

just a spectator, I think if I tried, I'd be the one flying  ;D
they were fabulous, there was , were a balinese prince and princess there, they had brought their silk and bamboo kites, beautiful colours plus we got to see a very long dragon kite and lots of competitions , really nice change  ;D

Jeannine

Wow, that was exciting seeing royalty flying kites, wonder of they will go to Oregon??

Did you get dropping teddies?

sorry, you've lost me, there were great big flying teddies  ;D

Jeannine

We went to one in the Uk were they threaded teddies on to a line they went very high then the kite owner had some way of releasing them and they came down on parachutes, the kids loved it.
