Love your scarecrows! You're so talented. How long does it take you to make one?

Squash64

You are very kind Hyacinth  :)

It takes a couple of hours to make one, finding the stuffing is the hardest.  I've started using old duvets for the body and cushion or pillow stuffing for the face but I have run out now.

He is gorgeous, I just can't believe it is possible to make something so stunning in '' a couple of hours''!

Keep the photos coming of all their exploits.

One word - FREEGLE!!!  Bet you anything that if you asked for old duvets/cushions/pillows you'd get lots of offers. Worth a try?

Make mine a large one!

They are really brilliant.  Have you not thought about making a few and selling them on an auction site?  Country or gardening fairs would also be excellent.  If I saw one at a fair I would buy one.  I have not seen anything like them before let alone with such brilliant facial expressions.  Share your talent.
