I had a good day so far today. Mrs. O'B was working very late last night, and left earlier than ususal for work today, but when I got up there was my pressie on the kitchen counter. AAhhhh.

Garden girl, I am still trying to figure out how to get a photo of my dog from a cd of the photo developers...on here.

I would like to mention RIP to Emlyn Hughes who died yesterday, so young, so full of the joie de vivre throughout his career. I am a Liverpool fan since he was in the team, when they were last good. Ha!

Also RIP to Ken Saro Wiwa of Nigeria who was killed on this day 1995, my 30th.
Did anyone see the Storyville documentaries on BBC2 recently!  About 2 weeks ago, very late, but followed immigrants to USA. His sister and brother and her family featured among other stories.  If it's on again, I'd recommend it/them.

The quiz was fun last night, sorry I missed the first half.  Will look elsewhere in the Shed to see who won, or was in the playoffs.

it was dry and sunny here today. Lovely day really, had lunch with my mother in a soon to close Dublin institution coffee shop/restaurant. Bit of a chat about the day I was born etc.  Good day all round
