When my sister worked on a farm she had an English pointer that lived outside. On a cold night she'd grab a hen, drag it to her kennel, and lie on it all night. She never harmed any of them at all.

Jeez, hens... They're funny to watch but am I alone in wondering how on earth they've survived for so long. Why did the chicken cross the road? Who knows, they're idiots with no ability for rational thought!

Morning,
I currently have just 3 in an ark. I moved the ark from one end of the garden to the other while my 3 hens watched but when it came to locking them away at dusk they had decided they didn't recognise the ark or couldn't find it and were all huddled in a ball with one on top next to my shed!!
