I'm not a dog lover but we have a Springer Spaniel and we love him to bits. He is such a big part of our house and very, very affectionate. So of course I regularly get my ears cleaned and my feet with his enthusiastic licks! Although I can''t bring myself to have aface wash.

In dog speak licking ears is a way of gaining favour with a higher status member of the pack - so its a sign of respect too.

Yes, in days gone by I would never let a dog tongue near me, but they sure grow on you!

 Vony, that is a lovely clip i have sent it to lots of my friends they loved it too.
I just cannot bear a dog licking faces but it was beautifull, they were all so very happy.
