Afternoon

We are just at the beginning of setting up an allotment society and one of the jobs I have been allocated is to look into discount schemes offered by seed companies.

Any recommendations?

Thanks
Bill

I recommend that you speak to NSALG, http://www.nsalg.org.uk/
they run a discount scheme through 'Kings seeds'.
You couldn't make it up!

we use the king's seeds, through NSALG.. very reliable and reasonable  ;D

We used Kings for the first time last year. Everyone seemed very satisfied and - even though only a few members ordered - we made £60 for the Society!

We have negotiated 10 % off at our local garden centre...we have an association card. It gets us that much off everything not just garden stuff. One word of advice and something we need to rectify make sure the membership card is only valid for one year!

Most seed merchants give a discount to Allotment associations, I use Thompson & Morgan and buy for several sites, at present they give 40% discount + 5% cash back,   the money back goes to WSPA.
