If anyone in NW London, south Herts, or east Bucks is thinking of keeping bees and would like to chat to some beekeepers, there's an opportunity next Sunday.  We're in Hatch End, which is north of Harrow and south of Watford, and we're a friendly lot!

Great idea, shame we are wrong end of the country. How would i find out if anyone does one round Yorkshire?

If you look at the list here ... http://www.britishbee.org.uk/local_associations_about_us.php you'll see there are about a couple of dozen Yorkshire Beekeepers Associations, several of which have their own website.  There are links to websites for some of them, but you may have to Google for others.

I'd be confident that every one of them will do some sort of introductory course in the spring, and quite a few will have end of season events going on now.  If there's nothing on their website, just give the secretary a call.   :)
