The winning vase.. with a distracting mural... didn't clash as much in real life..

Howard to whom size does matter... not a patch on Betty though...

Our harvest basket... I bullied OH into doing one (as we had only one entry at that point) and she didn't read the schedule so should have been disqualified for too many types...  :-[

The one that should have won...  ::)

Nice pics Saddad - great colours. ;D
I'm afraid my harvest basket would be rather miserable in comparison to those beauties.. :(

When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

saddad

Good job I'm not any better at D-I-Y or I would have to build a kennel...  ;D

If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

What are the proper colours for the certificates?

QuoteWhat are the proper colours for the certificates?

I am not sure if there is a ruling on this but in all the years I have exhibited it is usually;

Red for 1st

Blue for 2nd

Yellow for 3rd.

Specials; eg Highly Commended, Best in Show etc, are usually white, and  are usually bigger and written in a posher font.

I seem to recall one show I entered where all the cards were white so I guess this society was trying to put their individual mark on proceedings.

Interesting question, strange how things are taken for granted!

I did yellow, white and brown (the nearest I could get to gold, silver and bronze) then realised it wasn't the usual. So I was wondering if I'd infringed some unwritten rule.
