I have only seen one ladybird this year,  no swarms here either.

I've seen surprising few this year. Perhaps the long, cold winter took it's toll!

We have quite a few here in the Midlands. Lots of the darker ones too. Yesterday I even found a larvae on the hydrangas
When I get old I don't want people thinking
                      "What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
                    "Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"
