It would be worth a try. You may find that you do better just having donations

Saddad, what would the objections be to a donation instead of a fixed price? As from Debs' day they did very well on the donation front. Trying to help you get your arguments ready......  ;)

Not my problem, but the NGS's... if we went "independent" we could charge less or go for just donations...  :-X
Don't want to fall out with the NGS though...  :)

What is the advantage of going with the NGS?  Publicity?

Partly...
but on a personal level there is the ticket to other "yellow book" gardens and a complimentary NT card (Don't use that as a member but others on the C. do)

We aren't intending to give up the June Open Day... but add a specialist plant day earlier for heritage toms and other tender plants like squash, aubergines, peppers, chilles and so on...  :-\

Just do it Saddad, you know you want to.We would come to buy our stuff from you such as Toms and squash (not sharksfin). Twould be an expensive trip though if we had to pay 3 quid to come in to buy our plants from you.

General concensus was another Open Day on Sun May 9th.. independent of NGS just for plant sales.. of toms/squash and the like... with either a 50p entry or just donation... but without opening the full site for "tours"
