I'd be grateful for some wallflowers.

greenscrump

Hi Robert - you're very welcome to all of them, if you'd like?

Give it a while and see if anyone else wants the rest. I don't want to be greedy, but if there aren't any other takers, you could just send them to me, and anything I don't use will end up in a seed parcel at some point.

Hi Saddad, the Tundra are yours, please PM me your address - and you too Robert  and I'll get them in the post tomorrow.

Debster, guinea pigs should only have small amounts of lettuce & spinach. Hope they aren't over doing it ;). I think it's the oxalic acid.

Janet,
Mine are having a lettuce a day, and parsley and carrot tops and carrots banana and other fruit and veg which they take or leave as they please. Cukes are their fav. :P

Got them back now to put some tread on them

It was the vet who said not to but I have also read it since then.  The sister of one of the girls at the vets had GPs & they died very young & she thought it was because they had been fed to much lettuce & spinach even though she had advised them about it. Some sites say they are OK others no but they seem to agree on iceburg as it is of little nutritional value & full of nitrates.
