Edited to add, Dan removed an offensive post by sambucus last week and put him/her on moderation.  I suspect there's a connection here......

It appears the pictures have been changed rather than removed, I wouldn't advise verifying that yourself.
Sambucus appears to be one of those individuals with a seriously warped mind who spends too much time on sites like 4chan or encyclopaedia dramatica.

I thought at first that the site must have been hacked, but it is indeed the signature of that individual.  It's possible that their account has been hacked, but if it's deliberate then they should be banned, no question.  >:(

You can ignore without viewing the images.
Go to your profile (button at the top of the site) then click on 'Ignore user options' (on the left) type sambucus into the ignorelist & press change profile. You will then no longer see either the posts or more importantly the signature from sambucus.

He's putting comments with misleading links to extremely nasty pictures on various threads!

I agree with Fork that more than one moderator is needed to be able deal with these quickly!
