I had a girl a few weeks ago, then 2 boys, now 2 girls... and there's no others nearby... Just to check, should Jack be little work as a daddy? It's the only other squash I'm doing this year. The only other relatives are decorative gourds & various courgettes but I don't think any of them will work...

I'm not an expert on pumpkin bonking but I would have thought the Jack will be fine..  :-\

any other squash will do, but obviously the resulting seed will be variable!! ;)
You couldn't make it up!

It'll be like a Jack Russel climbing on the back of a Great Dane!

How are your giants doing? I have 2 decent ones growing now. Think they are between 3 and 4 ft in diameter. I am planning to take some pics tommorrow so will hopefully remember to post them here too!

OllieC

Oh, I thought I was doing okay but it's only about a foot diameter I'd say...

I've got one that looks promising but I won't be able to measure it because it's not easy to get to.

A bit later than promised, but here is one of my Atlantic Giants taken today. I have put my keys on for scale.

It's looking good Sparkly.  Good idea to put keys on.  I don't think I can get close to mine because of all the leaves in the way.
