House sparrows and red clover

Sorry about the picture quality, but it was taken through the window in a hurry.



I have red clover in my wildlife garden. Bees love it, and now the house sparrows have joined in. I don't know whether they are eating clover leaves, the flowers, or the seeds, but whatever it is, they prefer it to the wild bird seed I put onthe bird table! I have a colony of about 30 house sparrows, and they are a lovey sight in the clover.
