Pumpkins

Manuel gave me a pumpkin and planted it in my compost box.  I have strict instructions from him about watering and feeding and talking to it.  I took a picture of it last night, that is Manuel's thumb in the picture.  He wants to grow the biggest pumpkin this year, will be funny if the one he gave me is bigger than his.  ;D ;D ;D

What do you have to say to a pumpkin to get to to grow bigger can you let us into the secret?

Looks like it has a little way to grow.  Make sure you give it a good talking to.

I don't sing to it as I think my singing voice would kill it.  Just give it 4 watering cans of water a day, not on the leaves, so I am told, that is probably why I cannot bend down, as have done my back in.  Sympathise with people that allotments get out of hand as if I bend down can't get up.
