Chillies dropping their flowers

Hi everybody, I'm a complete novice regarding growing chillies. I bought a romital chillie plant from the garden centre a couple of months ago and its growing a good un. I have a lot of little white flowers but now they are just dropping off?

Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

Are you growing indoors?

If so, you need to regularly tap the flowers to aid pollination.

Outdoors the wind and insects do this.

Yes I'm growing them in the kitchen next to the window so that might not help either. I bet I'm overwatering as well. Ah well I'm learning.
