Can any one tell me if husband and wife should or can write the cheques for the allotments, these 2 have taken over the whole committee 2 months ago, and have not even changed the mandate at the bank. So as it stands I'm the only one who should be able to write out a cheque. Although 2 should be signing them. one person has moved and is ill, but these two are just walking over every one.

we have 3 names on ours, any of the three can sign a cheque but the chairman has the chequebook

I hold ours, and can sign for little cheques but the chairman has to countersign large amounts..
The bank shouldn't honour any cheques they sing if they are not signatories and they can't change the sigs without the previous ones doing so...   :-X
