Honeyberry

Hello

Has somebody grown honeyberries before?
I ordered them from T&M and they should be delivered in August.
Supposedly as usual they will be very small.
I wonder if I can grow them in the pot.
I cannot find many sites regarding this cultivation.
Some say full sun others part-shade - shady.
I wonder which one is more appropriate.
Any advice will help.

Lonicera caerulea var. edulis & Lonicera caerulea subsp. kamtschatica both grow better in a sunny position they will grow in shade/partial shade but will produce significantly less fruit. They don't like the soil drying out so I suggest you apply a mulch round them.
You could keep them in pots for the first year but they would need to go in the ground at some point as they normally grow to their mature size (6'x4') in 3-4 years.
Taste wise each plant is different some produce very sweet fruits other are slightly bitter.

I ordered some from another seed company and they came yesterday. They just look like honey suckle. I've potted them up for now as they are only about 6"/8" inches high :)

They just look like honey suckle.

They are honeysuckle just a bush form rather than a vine.
