To Pinch or Not To Pinch........that is my question!!!

Now i know on tomato plants we pinch out these little shoots that start to grow, do we do the same with these ones on the cucumber plants???

The only pinching I do is 2 leaves beyond the fruit on sideshoots - & when they reach the roof.

Last year was a first for me with cucumbers.  I never bothered and they seemed to be OK.   Would I of had more cucumbers if I had pinched?  Does it make that much difference for them ???

The leaf junction is where you get fruit?
