Waitingforland no longer - i got a plot!

Thanks to Freecycle where i advertisied my chicken manure  ;D A nice man came along to collect it and we were chatting about the chickens in my back garden when i mentioned i was looking for an allotment, the guy said his was only a 5 min drive from me and there were vacant plots!
Off i raced to get one only to find that someone had reserved the last plot  :'( I put my name down anways and today (3 weeks later) i got a call to say the guy who reserved the last plot never took it on so it was mineif i still wanted it...........did i ever!

5 minutes later i was completing the paperwork and proudly surveying my new/first ever allotment. It comes complete with lovely grass (lots of it) and a few patches of nettles but i stood there picturing it cleared and full of veg's  ;D
I would love to start tomorrow but i am so busy it will have to wait until Tuesday, i don't know if i can survive that long, i have already started designing how it will look and what i want to grow.....I'm so excited!
