I received my order from Marshalls in the week for my overwintering onions.  Whites are Swift and reds are Electric.  They arrived my a courier in a jiffy bag which I opened immediately.  What greeted me what a rotten mildew like pong and a very wet interior.  It seemed as though the jiffy bag has been troden on or crused in the van, or the bag had been packed for sometime and the sets had sweated.  When I opened the little string bags, over 30 of each variety were useless, either soggy and squashed, very damaged or rotten.  I gave Marshalls a call and explained, and they are sending me replacements.  Normally I would have put a few losses down to my poor planting, but my sis told me to call them and I am glad I did....so the moral of this tale, if you aren't happy with goods you recieve, give the firm a call and demand satisfaction....in the nicest possible way of course.

Mine arrived mouldy too EJ, there was me thinking that it was because I had left them unopened in the bag for a day or two! I may give them a call!
