Wow, you have been busy!

mummybunny

i must say i loved getting it all sorted a bit lost now that i havent got a huge list of things to get done! Was a great help that it was half term so we would take a picnic down and spend the day there getting sorted. The kids would wake up and go out into the garden to check if it was going to be a pinic day down the lottie lol

thifasmom

The soil is lovely thanks to the previous plot holder. He had to give it up was getting to much as he's 92 been working the same bit of land for 40 yrs. He came down and said hi told us he paid for our plot plus a few more on the lottie with the money he had when he left the navy. He grew and sold his veg to support his family. He was a really lovely man and i told him he was more than welcome to pop down anytime and have a cuppa. He was impressed with what i had done with his strawberries as they were his pride and joy hand size strawberries weighing upto 14oz each  :o That i cant wait to see!!!

I certainly wonder about the previous holder of my plot. He seemed to believe in the fertilizing power of broken glass and other rubbish!  ??? Or maybe he was hoping that if he planted enough, a greenhouse would grow! Definitely a very eccentric person, and it's going to take me years to clear all the bits out before I get soil that looks as good as that in the piccies above!

Brilliant mummybunny, hope you are feeling real proud of yourself.

Glad you are so kind to the last plot holder, I always feel so sad when plot holders give up because of their age, when they have put so much of themselves into it over the years.

Well done. It's looking great. Well done to your little helpers too  :)
