Is there anyone who knows where I could get chickens from in the next couple of weeks around the Grimsby/Cleethorpes area.

We have managed to plant up a good size piece of ground this Year and erect a chicken coop and run after moving to our over grown and unkempt property just 2 years ago. So looking forward to the addition of the chooks!

Any info would be great, Thanks in advance :-)

sorry didn't get it. The bloke we got ours from is called Martin Havercroft, he is at market Rasen tel:07760 386127 this number is about 1 1/2 old. Other wise i've pulled the others out of practical poultry:- A1 chicken crazy 01673 885856 (Lincoln)
                                      A&J poultry 01507 605578 (louth)
                                      Burkins poultry 01507 473135 (mablethorpe)
                                      Plough Row Marans 01775 630151
                                      Poultry Mad 01507 363742 (louth)
                                      www.poultrymad.co.uk

It just depends on what you want, and how far you are willing to travel ;D We are lucky in this area as we seem to have lots to go at! We ended up with black rocks just because we had never kepted chickens before and they are really hardy. I'd have liked batterys but i felt i needed to learn first :)
