Carol and Steve (CARSTE) who recently joined this group and who are plot neighbours to Tony and myself are going through a very stressful time. Carol has to go into hospital tomorrow for an operation to remove a tumour that is affecting her sight. They only found out a couple of weeks ago what it was so one can only imagine how they both feel. I am sure that you will join with me in wishing them well.
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

My thoughts are with them.

My wife has recently had a cataract operation and a friend had a brain tumour removed.

From me, too, exact same message :-*

From experience, I know today's going to be a long day for you but once you're in hospital tomorrow knowing that a good team are going to get rid of the nasties and repair you, that'll be a good thing. We really do have a good NHS team of surgeons, expertise, etc.

I'm sure that Shirl or Steve will tell us how you're getting on and I look forward to hearing that.

Again, all the very very best for tomorrow,  your stay in hospital and convalescence.
