Ross - you've missed out the option of grew both, got both blighted.

I had a few problem leaves on my spuds, but didn't lose any plants (I'm sure it was blackleg that got my spuds, not the blight).

I've got 40 tom plants. so far (touch lots of wood) only two plants have been affected badly enough (blackened stems) for me to rip them out. A few other plants have had bad leaves, which I've taken off. I reckon a few more will need to come out before the end of the season, but I'm being patient with them.

Allotment toms were hit hard and fast - the lot!  Super Marmande, beefsteaks, christmas grapes (cherry), blackplum - the lot, on both plots!  Then I noticed the foliage on some of my spuds was begining to look iffy, so I cut the lot down, better to be safe than sorry.

So far the greenhouse seems okay, altho I have removed some dodgy leaves, but I think that is 'child' damage rather than blight.

Came back from a few days away and the whole lot had gone!

We were so looking forward to the rest of our tomatoes, but think ourselves lucky 'cos we had three carrier bags full to bursting of them!!

Ferline blight resistant tomatoes from Thompson & Morgan.
At the lotties around us, tomato plants collapsed about a month ago, I just cut some infected leaves off and they are still going strong.
Not immune but definitely blight resistant!

No sign of blight here at all - most of tomatoes were Ferline some Cristal couple of Sungold and "something else". Half a dozen varieties of potatoes earlies, seconds and maincrop - all safely harvested or eaten!

Tatie haulms started to blacken so cut the lot down. Spuds seemed OK tho. (Apart from wire worm/slug damage.)
Outdoor tom's were hit bad. Have lost at least 1/2 the crop. Beefsteak, Gardeners delight, Robin etc. The tom thumb basket ones have leaf damage but the fruit is good.
