We don't like radishes, turnips, swiss chard or cooked garden peas. We do like to eaty them raw though
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

saddad

It's a scottish thing... sausage meat done in square slices, like Kraft cheese, so that it fits the sarnies well...  :)

square slice is lorne sausage, you must cook it. Haslet is more like chopped pork or meat loaf I think

kitty have you tried  Asparagus peas ?

lbb

Amazin

I found rainbow chard bland and tasteless so I won't bother with it again. I've yet to sample the delights (?) of an asparagus pea.

I can't think of a single veg I actively dislike - raw or cooked. But apart from potatoes, comparatively few of the veg I grow ever get a chance to be cooked as I'm always grazing on the plot - must be the fresh air...

Anyone else built up a taste for fresh raw veg?

Oh , by the way, DO NOT come anywhere near me with that spawn of the Devil - coriander (bleeuurrgh!)
