Just a quick survey what is the average price you would have to pay for an allotment size roughly
126ft x 26ft per year

I don;t have it now as I moved and have sufficient space in my garden now (just... ) but two years ago I had about 130ft by 36ft and it was £12.  This was in Oxfordshire

My plot is 10 rods and costs £24 per annum in London.  I think yours is a little larger - about 12 rods.

Mines a bit of an odd ball,

triangular 200x 150x90

£27 per year,it goes up at 50p per year.

but no water laid on.

have to catch all mine,robinofthehood pays the same but hes on the posh site

with water on tap. ;D ;D ;D

not sure what size my plot is (will measure it next time i am there) but i pay £45 a year, mine has water on tap and toilets and a traiding shed/shop open at weekends. its a big site with over 200 plots.
6.5 rod plot in southampton, just me and my 2yr old son, hehe

I have two 10 rod plots @ £13.00 for the two also water

Ours is 56'x18' classed a half plot. We paid £12.50 inc insurance & a key, we also have water on site. Tap is about 20' from our plot. We get it for half price as we are OAPs.

I'm on a council site.  They have put 3 new tanks in, new gates and track this winter.  And they provided free wood chips for a parking area.  Thanks Ceres never was much good at Maths

Mine is a full size plot, water about 10 meters away, security fencing around the site which has about 20 plots on it. £12.50 per year

Oops, sorry taurus!  I should have used a quote - the 12 rods I referred to is Johno.  Just worked yours out - it's approx 6.6 rods.  Sorry!

mine is 120 x 24 cost me £12.00 a year running water concrete path free chippings £10 for a 3 ton of manure plenty of advice free allways a freindly smile and a cup of tea

Thanks Ceres, that makes them a bit expensive compared by what others are posting.  I'm going to be watching what others are paying with great interest.

Our standard 10 poles are £24 next year, £20 this. Toilets and Tap water on site.
Derby Average for 10 poles was £48 three years ago...  :)

I have a half plot and we pay £32 per year. We have water tanks, leaf mould supplied and a trading hut where we can but all our goods which is open twice a week.

We have a 50 x 65ft and we pay £5 a year. Water is very close and included. Thats in bedfordshire.

it is roughly 90ft x 20ft.
how do i work out how many rods that is??
