Our garden is flooded again. I've been out tonight with a torch and a three pronged cultivator, clearing leaves out of the ditch and the 9" drain. B----- weather.

Sorry to hear that Larkshall, living in Gloucester we've had our fair share of flooding but thankfully our own house and garden survived! I hope you get it sorted.

Flooded? How odd, mines still covered with last weeks snow!

It saved the bungalow getting flooded. Unfortunately, the sewer flooded and we were unable to use the toilet for 36 hours (good job we've still got the old Porta Potty we had when camping). A neighbour's manhole cover was lifted and a load of paper+ was spread over their drive. This has been happening on and off for the last 30 years. I notified Anglian Water, The Enviroment Agency, our local MP and BBC Look East.

Unbelieveable the amount of water in Chelmsford and the surrounding villages.  I drove to Little Baddow today and the standing water in the woods was amazing.  I really hope over half term the sun shines to dry the allotment out so I can get up there soon.
