Is there any such thing as autumn-fruiting strawberries?
This is our first year on this particular plot and we lost all our strawberries to pigeons earlier in the year.
Now some of the plants that didn't fruit then, are now just starting to do so.
They had pink flowers - what variety could they be?

I seem to remember when I was younger mum grew pink flowered strawb and it was called Pink Panda or something like that.

There are some listed in the Ken Muir catalogue. I was thinking of growing Mara des Bois for next year, anyone tried them?

i grow Challenger autumn (perpetual) strawbs which seem pretty reliable- never get a great flush at once but there are always enough strawbs for breakfast, 2 or 3 times week. In truth, they are not as nice as the Tenira summer strawbs i grow - same with autumn raspberries (I have Galante) - all from Ken Muir. Still well worth getting a dozen plants or so.
