Does anyone have any greenhouse or conservatory fig faves?

I had a large houseplant die recently from exposure to frosts while i was on hols and the heating was off. I am thinking about replacing it with an edible fruit tree such as a fig and am not sure what to choose. I have looked online and there is a bewildering choice of figs - but im also considering an apricot or nectarine.

It will sit in my conservatory in a 2' pot with a hydroponic reservoir and could be allowed to get to 7-8 feet in height.

Brown Turkey is relaiable outside and would love you for a conservatory but I would be tempted by White Marsailles...  ;D

go with the White Marsailles for indoors, put a brown turkey in a pot outside!! (best of boyh worlds) ;)
You couldn't make it up!

White Marseilles does well outdoors too, in a conservatory I would go for something less hardy which you wouldn't normally be able to grow like Rouge de Bordeaux or Grise de St Jean.
Reads have a good selection of figs.
