I've planted sweet peas and some broad beans under cover ready for planting out. I have read that you can sow some autumn peas about now, but i can't seem to find them in the garden centres or catalogues. where do people get em?

When will you put them out, manics? I sowed some in my cold greenhouse on 21st october but can't imagine putting them outside in this weather!

I chitted Meteor indoors then planted them in cells 23 October.  The trays went outdoors immediately and the seedlings are now around 4" tall.  I'm planting them out on the plot next week.

"Round" not wrinkled seed varieties are best for planting to overwinter but I would have got them in at the start of November here...  :-\

Hi
My Meattor peas and Broad beans  went in 4 weeks ago and are just coming through .

Tyke

Thanks for the help. I will get some peas in this weekend - assuming the ground isn't frozen!

BTW - the link to the website has a rogue space in the middle of it. I got directed to a site all about moles and spent a lot of time scratching my head...
